That's my nut!
One day, one of the King's wives took their daughter to a spring to wash off sores that were on her daughter's body. To her surprise, a nut fell from the tree, so she picked up the nut and let her daughter eat it, not knowing it belonged to the tortoise that was gathering nuts for his family from the tree.

I'm sorry, I didn't know!
The tortoise made the wife feel bad as he told her that he was a poor tortoise that struggles to get his family food and that he was going to tell everyone including the king.

The tortoise planned to take the drum from the king as compensation for his wife taking his nut, but little does the tortoise know, if the owner of the drum steps on a stick on the road or steps over a fallen tree, all the foo-foo, soup, and drinks the drums brings out will instead go bad and hundreds of ebgo men come and beat all the people at the feast.

The wife hurried back to the palace to tell the king what happened, so the king offered the tortoise many things, but he declined everything. The tortoise wanted the drum. The King gave him the drum, but did not tell him what bad things could happen

the tortoise was very happy with the drum as he was able to stuff his family everyday. One afternoon, the tortoise stepped on a stick in the road. When he came back home, he banged the drum and all the food came out bad and many ebgo men stormed into his home and brutally beat him and his whole family
