  • Context
  • I have worked in education as a teacher, researcher, trainer, examiner adviser for 40+ years. My work has revealed education is tailored to fit university expectations, stunting organic education, while the Arts have shown benfits for diverse learners.

  • Implication
  • As a teacher I can apply these ideas in my classroom through conceptual thinking, collaboration, role-play, practical engagement the use of flipped classrooms as just a few examples.
  • Critique
  • The biggest critique of Robinson's work would be that he does not provide original practical medthods of applying these ideas to the classroom. While he uses plentiful examples of how he has seen other educators bring about these changes, there is a lack of information on how to actually implement these creative ideas into actionable outcomes.
  • Assessing students in ways that support their personal progress and achievement
  • Agile Classrooms to support diverse learners
  • Enabling students to pursue their particular interests and strengths
