- The call to adventure happens early in the Iron Man movie when Tony Stark is captured to create weapons for the people who captured him which are considered dangerous to the public. He must make sure that his weapons are not used to harm anyone.

- The death of Heracles is caused because of his woman of temptress. This woman is Iole. She is not the wife of Heracles however, he is love with as she is with him. When Deianara finds out about them, she uses the poisoned blood of Nessus that ends up killing him. Luckily, he had completed all labors and was given immortality.
- The woman of temptress in the Iron Man movie is the assistant of Tony Stark, Pepper Potts. Pepper does not want Tony Stark to continue in his adventure as she thinks it is too dangerous. However, he does not listen to her
- The apotheosis in Iron Man happens when the reactor on the Iron Man suit no longer functions. Although Tony Stark does not die physically it in a way symbolizes his death and his new Iron Man personality is born.
