Lincoln's Assassination
The end of the Civil War came once the South/Confederate surrendered. President Lincoln was very generous in giving no consequences. He said soldiers of the South could just go home. Although Lincoln was very nice about this, someone was so upset about losing he decided he would attempt to assassinate Lincoln. This is none other than John Wilkes Booth, 5 days after the Civil War ended Lincoln attended a play at Ford's Theatre and when he was enjoying the show John snuck up on him and shot him in the back of the head. Lincoln died the next day . :(April 14, 1865
