- king Oberon was king of the fairies and his wife Titania was a queen but they had lately been arguing quite a lot so King Oberon sent his mischievous elf puck to brush her eyes with a magic flower when Titania woke up she would fall deeply in love with the first thing she saw while Puck was getting the flower Oberon saw Helena and Demetrios helana was begging that he would love her and he was denying it oberons heart softened and told puck to find the Athenians and use a petal of the flower so they would fall in love

- puck went to find something Titania would fall in love with then he saw the workmen acting out their play when he used a bit of magic to turn bottoms head into a donkey head this scared the other actors so much they all ran away bottom thought this all a trick so he sang very loudly and out of tune to show he did not care this woke queen titania who when laid her eyes on the beast fell deeply in love
