- My name is Micheal Scott. I am your lawyer. I will be defending you in court, Mr. Halpert. I have read your case, and it looks like you have been accused of murdering 12 minors.
- Who are you?
- I work for the government. One of your rights entitles you to an attorney, as stated by the 6th Amendment of the Bill of Rights.
- I didn't think I would have a lawyer. How am I going to pay for your services?
- My pleasure! As you'll soon find out, you are entitled to plenty of rights as an American citizen.
- I didn't know this. I never got the opportunity to fully know all of my rights. Thank you!
- I will do my best to prove you're innocent. Just cooperate with the judge and I'll do the rest. Is that clear?
- Yes. I hope I am found innocent, because I did no such thing.
- Mr. Halpert, before your trial starts, I would like to remind you that you have a right to a speedy, public trial with a jury, which is to your left.
