- I return to my usual bed and tell my buddies about all of my adventures.We went into the earth, then into a lake, then into an animal, then into the skies, and finally back home, I said.We were all so eager to see one other again that we didn't realize how our bodies were shrinking and getting less chilly as time went on.I was the one who noticed it initially.I screamed, "NO! NOT AGAIN!"I didn't want to go back!I had no choice but to leave. I ended up in the middle of a river.That time, at the very least, I had my pals with me.
- There is a strong stream in the river that drives us onward.We don't have an option except to go along with it.We continue to speak, and we arrive to the conclusion that we are now in the runoff stage, and that the water will eventually end up in an ocean or a lake.We go on for what seems like an eternity.Everyone misses home.I'd like to return as soon as possible.
- We ended up in the middle of an ocean because of the river.Now that I've become used to moving about so much, it's not as terrifying as it used to be.I'm beginning to love the process since I know I'll be able to return home practically every time.We spend some time in the water, looking for things to do, and then we start to fade away.As the sun's heat energy turns us into gas, I felt a familiar warm sensation.We climb higher and higher towards the heavens.
- As we ascend, I feel colder and colder as I revert to water.Because my pals are new to all of this, I have to reassure them that it's all part of the learning experience.I'm not sure when we'll be able to return home, so I tell them I'm not sure.We become heavier as we become a cloud and have a nice night's sleep, and by nighttime, we're like snow on a glacier, exactly as I was before.
- I'm back at home now, having supper with my family.Then I tell them about my experience with the water cycle.Thankfully, I don't revert to my previous state of meltdown.I informed them that after you get acclimated to the water cycle, it doesn't seem so terrifying anymore, and that it actually becomes a lot of fun.
- When I return to school, my instructor instructs us to create a comic strip depicting a waterdrop's journey through the water cycle.She advised to make it from the point of view of the waterdrop.I have a clear idea of what I'm going to write about.It's also what you're now reading.
