  • The lottery can't change, it has been follow for years and generations, it is a tradition.
  • That's not fair! He didn't have enough time to choose wisely.
  • Mr. Hutchinson, you have won the lottery ticket.
  • Good morning! I'm the conductor of the lottery and my name is Joe Summers.
  • Some villagers were asking themselves why can't this tradition of the lottery change. A character named Old Man Warner responded very angry that the lottery can't be change because it is a tradition that was followed for years and generations, and thanks to that tradition the crops can grow.
  • I'm Mrs. Dunbar and I'm gonna replace my husband spot. He couldn't arrive because he has a broken leg.
  • Mr. Dunbar?
  • The person who won the ticket of the lottery was Bill Hutchinson. His wife Tessie Hutchinson was arguing that it wasn't fair because her husband didn't had enough time to choose wisely.
  • Oh man! I hope that little Dave don't have the paper with a black dot.
  • The villagers of a small village gathered in the square at ten o clock of the morning on June 27th to participate on a tradition called "the lottery" conducted by Mr. Summers.
  • It isn't fair! It is not!
  • Mr. Summers start calling each head of the household to take a piece of paper from the black box, but, some were missing.
  • The Hutchinson's 5 family members got into a lottery. Villagers were confirming that if Dave Hutchinson the youngest kid of the family got the paper with black dot, they wouldn't throw him stoned.
  • Tessie Hutchinson got the paper with the black dot. Tessie was arguing that it wasn't fair, but the villagers didn't listen and stoned her to death.
