It is against Desdemona's nature to not like the men of her own country and people of high social rank
Can you help me get back to my good relationship with Othello?
It is because I am black and old, while she is white and pretty. She is doing this because she feels that people of my skin color are not of a high rank.
I will try my best.

In the play Othello, the theme of race is present in Act 3, Scene 3, when Iago tries to manipulate Othello by telling him that Desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio. Othello Immediately believes Iago because he does not doubt that Desdemona does not love him. He thinks this because he is an old black man and she is a pretty white woman and Cassio is a white man of a high social class. Similarly, in the present day, many black people are treated unfairly due to the stereotypes of their race. In this example, the police officer is harassing the black man for doing nothing wrong. While in the back of the scene, a white man steals a phone from someone's house and the police officer lets him go. These problems are seen through our daily lives and many black men feel they are violated by the police. Therefore, Othello's situation is analogous to many black men when they are faced with the police because both feel as if they are less in society and are stereotypically misunderstood.

It's okay, he's a white man so we'll let him go.
I didn't do anything wrong! Stop abusing me!
I just stole this phone from this house over here!
