- Benjamin Franklin was born in January 17 1706 in Boston, Mass. He was one of one seventeen kids born to Josiah Franklin, and one of 10 to Josiah's secondwife Abiah Folger Franklin.

- In his early life he only went to school until ten years old. He worked for his Dad and then for brother as a printer. When he was 17, he ran away to Philadelphia for a new life of his own.

- Ben died in 1760 because of a sickness that no one knew as a new sickness called cancer. He got sick from the lighting hitting him but he did not die then, but it put a thing in side him that made him fall sick.
