- Today we will be doing a fun activity called backyard safari! Where we will have to go outside and explore different animals and their habitat
- You will be put into groups and find different animals that you see and write them down or if you only see their habitat write what you think lives there!
- I see a nest on that tree over there!
- I see a lot of worms on the ground!
- Okay guys lets gather our last thoughts and write them down we have about 10 minutes left so we can go back and discuss as a class.
- One group tell me everything they wrote down on their sheet of paper. Remember to raise your hands and wait your turn.
- We saw a nest but we didn't see any animals living in it but we hypothesized that birds live there. Because a birds habitat is a nest.
