Today, Madeline Scott finally moved in to her apartment in NYC after landing a spot at her dream job !

The next day, she finally settles in and gets her new Tv's for her living room and bedroom. She needs to figure out the width of the Tv in her living room which has an angle of 42 degrees and is 14 inches away from her swinging chair but in order to figure the width out she has to find x. She uses trig to solve her problem. 14⋅ Cos(42) = 10.40 (x) , she then uses the Pythagorean theorem to find the width which is y after finding x. She finds out y is 9.37, so that means the Tv is 9.37 inches wide.

Madeline becomes really exhausted with all this moving stuff. She starts to rethink her decisions and if she's actually ready for such a big change in her life.
After she got some rest, she figured that this was a good change for her so she got straight to moving her other Tv in her room. She wants to see how far away her Tv is from her bed and if she is able to see clearly. Her Tv is 4 feet tall and has an angle of 24 degrees. She uses trig to solve her problem. 4/Tan24 = 8.98 ft. The Tv is 8.98 ft away from her bed.

A few days go by and Madeline's new mirror arrives. The mirror is 2 feet away from the wall's corner and 12 feet tall. Madeline wants to find the angle to make sure this is the perfect spot for her mirror. Once again she uses trig. She finds out the angle is Tan^-1(12/2) = 80.54 degrees.

It's been 1 month since Madeline has moved in and she couldn't be more happier. She loves her apartment and the way everything turned out and her job, she loves it. She's grateful that she got this opportunity and couldn't be more grateful.
