Other signs include verbal insults, pressure to have sex, use drugs, or drink alcohol, and intimidation (threats, physical dominance, destroying property), and any physical harm.3,4Veiled threats such as "you don't want to see me mad" are a sign that verbal and emotional abuse could become physical.2
