- November: The symptoms got worse.
- I don't know how much more I can take of this.
- Another migrain?
- December: 3 month check up with more bad news.
- Another 3 months! The symptoms are so bad!
- We checked the images, the tumors haven't shrunk enough. We're going to have to do another shot.
- January: This fight was straining my body and my marriage. I began to wonder if having kids was worth all of this.
- I'm sick of feeling like hell! What if they don't shrink enough. This would be worthless!
- Uh oh, you're baking. What happened?
- February: Final check up before surgery.
- They shrunk some. Not as much as we were hoping, but we are going to try and do the surgery. I'll do the best I can to save everything.
- March: Surgery time, no matter the outcome.
- I'm so scared. Please, God, I want kids someday.
- It's time.
- 4 months later... Final Checkup
- After a 6 hour surgery and VERY long year...It was a SUCCESS!!! In all of this I learned that life can change in a matter of seconds. Even though we feel defeated and at our weakest in those moments, it's our strength that drives us to fight and leaves us with the confidence that we gave it our all.
