- Men were on a boat with Paul when a bad storm hit. They all ignored Paul's warning to not set sail. All the men nearly gave up hope. 
- Paul reassures them when the ship hit a reef, and the bow was stuck but the stern was being broken by waves. Paul reassures them that God will save them, but not the boat. 
- The men ate the bread given to them from Paul. They were strengthened by the body of Christ. Those who could swim jumped over first and headed for land, and the rest used pieces from the boat. They were all saved.
