- Who would like to tell me how paper is made?
- Trees are a renewable resource. Paper, food and wood are three of the main products we get from trees.
- Guess what? We are making paper today! We will have 4 small groups divided by paper type.
- The groups are divided by construction paper, paper towels, newspaper and cotton balls. Each group will use a different source to create their recycled paper.
- Let's look to see which group made the strongest paper? Whose paper is water resistant? Which paper is best for writing?
- Now you will create a book showing different kinds of manufactured paper and describe the characteristics, benefits and limitations of each.
