- Exposition
- Teresa, a 16 year old girl, goes kayaking in Georgia Bay. It's the place where she feels most secure and free. She can be away from her parents babying and finally take control of herself for a while. The water surrounding her is choppy and the wind is blowing through her bangs.
- I love it here!
- The weather suddenly changes, as the wind picks up and grey clouds fill the sky. Reluctantly, Teresa decides it's a good time to head back to shore. All of the sudden, a windsurfer zooms past her, inches away from creating a collision between them. The windsurfer had luckily been able to stop himself just before smashing straight into rocks. He seemed to be around 18 and had sandy blond hair and blue eyes. Unfortunately, he didn't know how to get back to shore on his own!

- The windsurfer belongs to my buddy. It's my first time, I don't know how.
- In an effort to help the windsurfer, Teresa throws him a rope she had with her and tells him to tie it around his waist. The first catch was unsuccessful, but the second was perfect. As they begin making their way closer to shore, the current only gets choppier.
