  • OWWW!!!!!
  • I've observed your leg. It looks like with the help of mitosis, your cut will heal in no time !!!
  • Ok doc, Thank you.
  • The Interphase is the current phase in which your cells are.
  • That's sick !
  • There once was a young boy named Nathan. He was playing around in his backyard with his friend Mike, until he tripped and fell. He cut open his knee, and he ran inside to his mom.
  • Spindle Fibers, by the way, are the cytoskeleton structures that develop during cell division, also known as Mitosis.
  • The spindle fibres are connected to the sister chromatids at the centromere during the Prophase. The centrioles then shift to the opposing sides of the cell. During Metaphase, spindle fibres draw sister chromatids together in the "equator," which is the centre of the cell.
  • His mom took him to the doctor's office, and the doctor was explaining to Nathan about how mitosis occurs in 6 stages: Interphase, Mitosis, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase, and finally Cytokinesis. He explained how mitosis helps with cell growth, and how it will heal his wound.
  • I'm practically entirely recovered right now!
  • The chromosomes and DNA are kept in the nucleus, and the nuclear membrane protects the nucleolus and nucleus from the outside world.
  • The doctor describes how the cells develop and the chromatin begins to replicate during the Interphase, which occurs before mitosis begins. He also informs Nathan that the Interphase is divided into three distinct sections: G1, S, and G2. G1 is the stage in which the cells prepare their chromosomes for replication. Synthesis, or the replication and creation of chromosomes, takes place in the letter S. Finally, G2 is when the replication process is completed.
  • 4 weeks later...
  • You're all set now that you've learned everything there is to know about the Cell Cycle and Mitosis. You've recovered completely!!
  • Let's go !!!
  • Prophase is the initial stage of Mitosis, when the chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids and the nuclear membrane vanishes. He stated that the chromosomes get connected to the spindle fibres, which subsequently unite to the Centromere, in the second step known as Metaphase.
  • Nathan's third step, the Anaphase, helps him recuperate by producing more cells, according to the doctor. The doubled pair of chromosomes then separates into two identical groups that travel to opposing ends of the cell during Anaphase. Because the cells are in the process of making additional cells, this is beneficial to him.
  • Following Anaphase, Telophase occurs, during which the chromosomes begin to uncoil and form chromatin. Around chromosomes, the nuclear membrane and nucleus begin to reform. The nucleolus is visible once again. Spindle fibres eventually break down.
  • Cytokinesis occurs immediately after Telophase. The Cytoplasm is entirely separated during Cytokinesis. The cytoplasm splits and a Cleavage Furrow emerges, resulting in the formation of two new daughter cells. After this stage, the cell cycle is complete, and the process of generating new cells continues indefinitely.
