I've got my wife locked up in there. She's going to stay there till the day after tomorrow, and then we're going to move away.
Beat me! Throw me down and beat me, you dirty little coward!
In this scene, Michaelis is visiting George Wilson in his office and hears loud noises upstairs which are coming from Myrtle. George's skin tone is palish gray because he is sick and Michaelis has a confused and astonished expression because of what George said. There are also action bubbles at the top to depict the noise Myrtle is making.
In the next scene, Myrtle manages to escape downstairs to the garage. She is very frustrated at George for locking her in the room and is shouting up to George and taunting him before she makes a run out of the house. I gave the character red hair to represent Myrtle since she is recognized by her bright red hair.
Myrtle then runs out into the street and sees a yellow car about to pass by. She starts calling out to the car because she thinks it is Tom driving since she saw him driving a yellow car before. It is actually Daisy and Gatsby in the car. Daisy is driving and Gatsby is in the passenger seat. I gave Myrtle a happy expression because she thinks that Tom is driving and can help her run away.
Daisy tries to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting Myrtle, but is unable to do so because another car was approaching. Gatsby tries to pull the emergency brake but Daisy ends up hitting Myrtle. They all have fearful expressions because of the collision and there is an action bubble between Myrtle in the car to represent the crash.
Myrtle is now dead on the street but Daisy doesn't stop the car. I changed Myrtle's skin tone to a grayish-color and added a pool of blood to solidify the fact that she is dead. I also added an action bubble coming from the car to show how Daisy just drove away from the scene despite running someone over.
Michaelis and another man run over to Myrtle's body. They tear open her shirtwaist and saw her left breast swinging loose and knew she had no heartbeat. Both of their expressions are shocked and terrified because Myrtle is now dead.
