- Ponyboy was walking home from the movies and got jumped by five Socs. They put a knife to his throat and asked "need a haircut greaser". Then the gang came and saved him.
- Climax
- " Johnny i think i'm gonna be sick" (Ponyboy)
- "i killed him, i killed that boy" (Johnny)
- Dally, Johnny, and Ponyboy meet two Socs girls named Cherry and Marcia. They were nice to Johnny and Ponyboy unlike other Socs girls. Cherry got irritated by Dallly.
- Falling Action
- Johnny and Ponyboy fell asleep and didn't get home before 12:00 and when Ponyboy gets home Darry yells at him and slaps him.
- Resolution
- "We started it. We started it. We started it."
- Johnny and Ponyboy run away and go to the park and the Socs come to jump them. One of the Socs try to drown Ponyboy but Johnny ends up killing him trying to save Ponyboy.
- After what happened Johnny and Ponyboy went to Dally for a plan, gun, and some money. They ended up going to an abandoned church and changing their appearances.
- The church ends up catching fire and Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally go in to save the children inside.
