My OFW Father

- I was very excited to wake up this morning! My father, who is an OFW from Bahrain is coming back home today. It has been 2 years since I last met him and I want to spend a happy time with him together with mother.
- My mother and I welcomed him home with all our hearts. We were so happy to see him again. He will stay here for only two weeks and come back in Bahrain. So, we wanted to spend the most time with him. We had missed him so much.
- We did so many things together and had fun as a whole family. We went to the park to play. It felt so fun and heartwarming to be with a happy, complete family. I wished we were like this forever. Family bonding is the truly the best.
- On our last night together, we had our favorite meal, sushi and ramen. We talked about happy memories and experiences. My father made a lot of jokes which made us all laugh. After all, it was a good day to spend time together.
- The next morning, it was time to say goodbye to my father. He is going back to Bahrain after 2 weeks of spending time with us. We were all so sad. Even though it hurt, we hugged him for the last time. My mother and I were going to miss him so much.
- Now that he is back in Bahrain, we communicate through the internet. Until now, I miss him everyday. It is painful, but my mother and I both know that he is doing this for us. We forever love and cherish him for being the best father ever.
