  • Okay! Now Simon Says for everyone to hop on their left leg and hold their right arm out! Remember follow the leader, me! You guys are doing such a great job!

  • Alright children! Gather around please. You know what that ringing sound means right? It is finally time to go home and clean up our mess here.

  • Due to the routine Mrs. M enforces daily, some of the children are now used to their day-to-day schedule without getting too antsy. However, this is a situation that requires clear and direct instructions.

  • Maya's mom is teaching clear communication skills by letting Maya talk without dismissing her, and then speaking once she is finished. Furthermore, parents have a large impact on the language development of children, especially since children absorb what they see, hear, or experience. (Focus on the Family, 2022)
