- It had been raining for 7 years and the rain might finally stop. They also live on Venus that's why it rains every single day and doesn't stop. The children are looking outside to see if the sun is going to come out or not. Margot has seen the sun before and can still remember how it looked but the other children do not remember how the sun looks.
- In the middle of the story the children locked Margot up in the closet because they don't like her. The children are jealous of Margot because her parents were talking about taking her back to Earth next year and they got jealous so that's why they decided to lock her in the closet and make her miss the sun when it came out.
- At the end the children finally let Margot but the sun has already came out so she didn't get to see the sun and no ones knows when the sun will come out again. When the sun came out the children felt the warn sun on there body and Margot didn't get to experience that because she was locked up in the closet.
