  • What a great trip! I learned so much Ms. K. I'm really sad that it is over and that we won't be learning about Washington anymore
  • I'm glad you enjoyed it Wayne, but the learning doesn't stop here. This is just one section of the learning cycle where we immersed ourselves in what we already know. By getting into the Capital, we are closing the learning cycle and starting fresh.
  • That just sounds like a fancy way of saying we are going to learn something else from now on. Since we already had the big trip this year.

  • I'm so happy they got to experience Washington - but I'm even more happy that our active experimentation worked! These kids have learned so much over the past week, and I'm excited to dissect with them everything that they did, and to discover their own learning.What kinds of things can I use to motive the class going further? Wayne seemed to really want to learn more about debating, and Nur really enjoyed the public speaking aspect. I think there is something there for everyone. As a teacher who just coached a field trip, it's time for me to put on my facilitator hat and to draw out all of the motivation I can.
