- Moshe, go to Pharaoh in the morning, and you shall stand opposite of him at the side of the nile. You shall hold the staff (that turned in to a snake) and say to him "Hashem has sent me to you, saying, Send forth My people, so that they may serve Me in the desert, but behold, until now, you have not listened.
- Continue saying to Pharaoh, Behold, I will take the staff that is in my hand upon the water that is in the nile, and it will turn to blood .And the fish that are in the nile will die, and the Nile will become unpleasant and the Egyptians will be sad to drink water from the nile.
- If Pharaoh does not listen, tell Aaron to take his staff and stretch it over all the bodies of water in Egypt. t Then there would blood instead of water throughout Egypt.
- Until now עַד-כֹּה Until now. Until you hear from me the plague of the firstborn,
- Not going to listen!
- Hashem has sent me to you, saying,..
- And the Egyptians will be sad The Egyptians will become sad to drink the water from the nile (for now that it has turned to blood.)
- OH NO! I'm going home now!
- Well then I will make all the waters throughout Egypt filled with blood!
- Tell AaronSince the Nile protected Moshe when he was in the basket floating, therefore it was not commmanded to him, neither with blood nor with frogs, but was commanded for Aaron.
- Hey why is the cup filled with blood instead of water, and why does it smell like dead fish?!
