- “Is there a party I wasn’t invited to or did the gas station run out of beer to sell?”
- Lena and Campbell get down south of Highway 20 and cut through Citgo.
- Since happy said the streets aren’t the same tonight they think it could be dangerous, but still head off into the other direction.
- They see a homeless man, and after he tries to get their attention they ignore him and speed up to get away.
- “Aye, you gotta dollar I could borrow?”
- “Do you know what I’d do with a pretty girl like you?”.
- “Why you running away from me? You think that white girl make you better than me?”
- “Now we got some crackhead following us.”
- The creepy man grabs Lena’s purse and she tries to get away but his grip is too strong. Lena is tearing up, but Campbell is not letting go of her.
- Surprisingly the man let go and they ran away as fast as they could and didn’t look back, and once they were a block away they lost the man.
- “Stop!"
- Lena and Campbell were both winded but are still very unsafe in the area.
- “Jesus we have to get out of here! This was the most unsafe move I’ve ever made.”
- “Relax. That was a bit much, but we almost outta her. A few more streets and then we’ll be back in Grant Village."
- Campbell starts to assume that Lena can safely just knock on someone’s door and ask for assistance, but they are in the hood, and Lena doesn’t feel comfortable doing that.
- “How about you knock on someone's door and ask for help?”
- “You must know someone who lives around here so that we can ask for help.”
- “I sure as hell do not”
