- In the first Punic war Rome fought the Carthages. It started because Rome felt threated that Carthages would try to conquer them, and because Rome wanted Sicily's granaries. In the end Rome won the first Punic War. They won by finding a Cartages ship to copy and added a corvus to make it a land battle. The Romans received peace and Sicily as their reward.
- In the Second Punic War Rome and Carthages fought again. It started because Hannibal wanted revenge on Rome. They did not succeed because Rome won again. Rome won because they had a wall the Carthages couldn't get through. While Carthages entire army was in Rome, Rome attacted the city of Zama winning the second Punic War.
- In the third Punic War Rome and Carthages fought for the last time. After being torn down they strarted rebuilding. Rome thought they would become powerful so they burt their city down and their crops. They won and received all of Carthages land.
