- So, we're back here again, huh? Well, have I learned anything since I first began taking this Anthropology course? Of course! In fact, I learned a lot more than I thought that I would, which is always a great thing, just getting to be informed about new subjects that you didn't know much about beforehand. Having said this, what must be asked then is this: what exactly did I learn?
- I've been able to learn about a variety of subjects thanks to this course. I've been informed of the very first humans along with the varying types of potential ancestors that we have, along with the different archeological discoveries made with humans and people alike. I've been informed about different species of animals and the distinctions that make these groups unique from one another. I've learned about different societies along with the ways that make each of them unique, from cultures and traditions to kinship and lineage. I've also learned about the process of anthropology as a whole and how these studies help us to better understand how things were in the past along with showing us the importance of the vastness of our world, whether it's through the animal kingdom and the different animals that are a part of it, or with different cultural or societal aspects found all around the world.
- All of this information that I have learned throughout the course along with the other topics that I didn't mention will be information that I carry with me beyond this class, and I am certain that everything ranging from the importance of cultures and traditions that I have been taught along with the vital knowledge of how we came to be and how things are in the world will in no doubt remain useful to me, whether it be here in the present or even five years from now. This was a wonderful course and I'm happy that I was able to be a part of it while also learning new things. Thank you!
