- Damien has always been scared of dark or poorly lit places. His sister, Elizabeth said "whoever stays in the cave the longest will win!" with a snicker. Elizabeth goes first, as Damien is about to sit down to time her, he hears Elizabeth yell "help me". Seconds before Elizabeth is taken into the black void, he sees bright red eyes like as a burning fire.
- Damien was full of regret in his bed. Instead of helping his sister when she needed him most, he ran away. He ran because of the dark cave, he ran because of those bright red eyes, he ran.. because he was a scared. He was ashamed of himself, Damien felt like a mouse trapped in a mouse trap. All he could hear was Elizabeth yell "Help me!" in his head.
- Damien went back to the cave, the black void that took Elizabeth. He was all soaked and it was raining cats and dogs. He had gathered enough courage to come back, and find Elizabeth. Damien had decided that he wouldn't be scared no more. He brought himself a flashlight to slay the darkness and the Revic he would call it. Damien would enter the cave with a uncertain feeling of being watched.
