- James I does not want to work with parliament. James I son Charles I becomes king, Parliament creates the petition of power to limit the king power, but Charles I ignores it. Parliament brings in Oliver Cromwell.

- A civil war between the Roundheads (supporters of the Parliament) and the Cavaliers ( the supporters of the King). Parliament wins and Charles I is beheaded. Cromwell sets up military dictatorship.
- Yay. We are king and queen now.
- When Cromwell died Charles I brother James II becomes king. James II does not believe in Divine Right of Kings. But James II is openly Catholic.
- William of Orange and Mary are invited to invade England. James II flees.
- William of Orange and Mary become king and queen of England. The revolution is won with almost no blood shed. And the English Bill Of Rights is created.
