Santa Fe Independent School District v. Jane Doe

Order In The Court. The case Santa Fe Independent School District v. Jane Doe is about to begin.
We allowed the student body to elect one of their a peers to lead the students in a prayer. This student would act as a "chaplain". There is nothing wrong about that.
That is a violation of the establishment clause in the First Amendment.
After talking it over with the other justices we have concluded that sponsoring a prayer is unconstitutional. These prayers are only constitutional if or when they are student initiated. They can not be school sponsered.
