- Well that sounds important, but what's really changed.
- Well plenty has changed. Serfdom was abolished, a czarist monarchy was overthrown, and the land owning elite were stripped of their wealth for the common good of all.
- By winning the war they were able to seize power. They implemented a new system of government and taxed the rich. "The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between millstones of taxationand inflation."
- How were they able to do that?
