- A time where I was being brave was in school. It was my first day of school and I was very scared and alone. I went into the school very scared that I was going to get bullied. About half of my classmates bullied me. I was also very worried about how many challenges this school year was going to have.like how to study for a test, or if we have an exam if i was going to pass,I was very nervous about all the school year challenges that were going to come.
- A time when Annemarie was being brave is when we went into the woods trying to give uncle Henrik the package. I know this because in Chapter 15 it states,“ Annemarie gave an exasperated sigh. "Could I go now, please?" she asked impa-tiently.” This shows that Annemarie was being brave because back then she was scared of the soldier’s but now she is not scared.this shows that Annemarie is being brave when she goes through the woods.
- Another time when Annemarie was being brave is when we Bumped into the Soldier,she didn't run away but she said why she was running with, i know this because according to the text on chapter 1 it says,“"I was racing with my friend/ she answered politely. "We have races at schoolevery Friday. andI want to do well, so I—" Her voice trailed away* the sentence un- finished. Don't talk so much, she told herself. Just answer the theme , that's all.” She said why she was running with her friend but she didn't go back. She kept on saying why she was running with her friend. This shows that Annemarie is a very brave/courageous person in this book.
