- - Structural MRI scans were obtained from taxi / non taxi drivers.- 2 image analysis methods were used to analyse data.- Voxel based morphometry scan (to see the amount of grey matter)-Pixel counting scan
- - The brain changes in response to the demands of being a taxi drive, than people who chose to be taxi drivers because they have pre- existing brain differences.- Human brain has plasticity to change and grow/ shrink in can change due to demand in environment

- Taxi drivers- Found more grey matter in the right and left posterior hippocampusNon taxi drivers- More grey matter volume in the right and left anterior hippocampi
