  • What is a S.M.A.R.T Goal
  • What is a SMART goal? A SMART goal is a goal that is Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
  • A Specific Goal
  • A Specific Goal is one that has specific outlines. Such as I'm going to exercise for 30 minutes. Not I'm going to exercise.
  • A Measurable Goal
  • A Measurable Goal is one where you can measure with numbers.
  •  A goal has to be specific and not a blanket goal, Measurable in numbers, Achievable as it has to be possible. Relevant as it should be related/ relevant to you at that moment to be more motivated, finally it's time-bound, such as setting a specific date to complete your goal.
  • An Achievable Goal
  • A Goal to be possible must be achievable it can't be something like i want to lose 60 pounds in a week
  • If you don't have a specific goal then you won't feel as motivated as you don't know when to start/stop and feel like there's no progress.
  • A Relevant Goal
  • A Goal must be relevant to you. IF it's relevant to you you will be more inclined to do it.
  • A Goal that can't be measured won't be possible. However it must be realistic.
  • A Time-Bound Goal
  • All goals have to have a Time to start/finish or you won't know when to do it or not. Such as doing exercise for 30 minutes for everyday.
  • Before even attaching a number to you must make sure to have it achievable and not un-realistic
  • Your goals should be relevant or you may lose your motivation to do so.
  • Without a time bound goal you may lose motivation to do it
