- Born and raised in Queens, NYC - Proud Latina!I studied International Studies at Vassar w/ Concentrations in Economic and Poli SciGot a job as an assistant at Blackstone working for the CIO of the Hedge Fund Business. I spent several years working on my modeling and analytical skills to earn a seat on the Investment Team focused on Emerging Market Private Debt - deployed $3.5B in strategy prior to Covid, and I loved working with governments around the world
- I first became interested in these topics back in 2017/. At the time, the smartest LatAm investors were VERY long Argentina and Puerto Rico debt but extreme weather events (worst drought in 100yrs that crushed Argentina's soybean exports Hurricane Maria derailed the PR's investor-friendly debt restructuring).It seemed like Wall Street was not focusing on climate risk AT ALL!
- I enrolled in the SUMA program to build the foundational skills that will allow me to transition to climate finance. I seek to combine my investment experience with these new skills to marshal capital to finance climate solutions. I think my training and investment judgment makes me a great candidate for top Climate Finance firms.
