Carbon( CO2) enters/released into the biosphere during cellular respiration(breathing) in animals and humans.
During carbon cycle, plants absorb the carbon gas in the atmosphere as well as using the suns energy to make their own food( organic carbon) in a process called photosynthesis
This is basically an organic material such as coal(fossil fuels) being burnt in the presence of oxygen to give off carbon dioxide.
STAGE THREE {3}
During the stage three(3) of the carbon cycle, carbon is transferred from one organism to another organism due to feeding.
As you can see, the rabbit fed on the grass and then it was eaten by the tiger, hence the carbon from the plant transferred into the plant then into the tiger.
These dead organisms are then absorbed by decomposers when decayed such as mushroom, fungus, worms and insects
The decomposers then respire to release CO2 back into air to be absorbed by producers again.
carbon is also released into the atmosphere in a process called combustion.
