- Gender inequality takes place in Afghanistan , Syria , South Sudan , Democratic Republic of Congo , Chad , Sudan , Sierra Leone , Somalia , central African republic and Pakistan . It is sad to know that gender inequality takes place in 10 countries around the globe , this proves that people still believe in what society says.There are various impacts of gender inequality such as a very low employment rate for women but when it comes to men the rate is almost of 100 % . According to research , women have a low employment rate because companies think that women are meant to do house hold chores and have children rather than getting educated and getting a job .Another impact of gender inequality is that in Sudan there is a law which restricts women from what they wear , where they can go and what women can do for work . This discrimination is infuriating as women should not be treated like prisoners , they should be allowed to wear what they want , to go where they want and to work anywhere they desire . This takes away basic human rights .

- The problem
- Gender equality is a fundamental human right and that right is violated by gender based discrimination. This discrimination takes place because of what the society says . A real life example could be that society says that girls are meant to stay at home , work , get married and have kids . While men should be educated and should have a job . This proves that girls do not get basic human rights , which are to be educated and to live a life peacefully without anyone deciding there future for them .
