- I am at my house in Iowa getting ready to go to the World Series in Kansas City Missouri. When I get to school the next day I tell my friends Daniel and Spencer the news at lunch.
- Daniel, Spencer and my Dad are all fast asleep. All of them ended up leaning on me, so not only are they snoring loudly, but I can't move! I'm going to flash forward in the story to when we exited the plane because honestly, that plane ride was unpleasant and boring.
- After we go our rental car we headed to our hotel and put our things in our rooms.
- We headed immediately to Kauffman Stadium so we could watch the players warm up. We got to our seats, which were awesome, and enjoyed watching them practice.
- We all decided to make a bet. "I predict that the Mets won't even score a single run!" Spencer said, "Yeah right! I think it’s going to be a close game but I'm rooting for the Royals no matter what happens!" Finally, Daniel chimed in and said "Woah wait a second! I think the Royals and the Mets are going to go into overtime and play fifteen extra innings!" My dad laughed at us during our prediction making and made his own bet. "I bet that none of you are right. Whoever loses has to run around the ballpark in their underwear!" We all chimed in together, “deal!”

- he very first batter of the game is Alcides Escobar and on the first pitch he sees he launches a moonshot up into the air and the play ends up being an inside-the-park-home run. We whooped and hollered and were so happy the Royals started the game with a BANG!

- We had a great time going to the game. I have enjoyed our time at the stadium and hope to have a safe trip back home. All we did was eat and watch the game. I just want to say Congratulations to the Kansas City Royals on winning their 4th World Series Crown in tht last 5 seasons. I hope you enjoyed this story, I know I did.
