All Stars begin from clouds of dust called nebulae. This birthplace of stars are made of hydrogen gas and dust.
SECOND STAGE: PROTOSTARS
The nebula forms a ball of gas and dust pulled together by gravity. As the gas cloud gets denser nuclear fusion occurs.
THIRD STAGE: MAIN SEQUENCE
A star's duration on the Main Sequence is the longest and calmest phase in its life.
FOURTH STAGE: RED GIANT
The Red Giant stage is the end of a star's life, the temperature near the core rises and this causes the size of the star to expand.
FIFTH STAGE: WHITE DWARF
SIXTH STAGE: BLACK DWARF
The black dwarf is created when a white dwarf star becomes too cool then it can no longer create large amounts of heat and light. The star will dim and become black.
The white dwarf stage is the end result of the death of a star.
