- My door is Christmas. During Christmas my family decorates our Christmas tree with bulbs and other ornaments we got in the past Christmases.
- My window is Hanukah. When I was little (8 or 9) I got a American Girl Doll. The doll was named Rebecca, she is Jewish. I didn't know much about the Jewish tradition. I've read books about her but they did not talk much about the Jewish religion. But, now I know more about her tradition of Hanukah due to reading the article. I learned that they eat food fried in oil to represent the oil candles in their tradition. This can help me value others that celebrate the Jewish tradition, and really understand what they do during this time. So, the doll beside me is Rabecca.
- My door experience for the Chinese New Year was that they used to call it the Chinese New Year. In the article it stated that know they call it "The Spring Festival." I kind of connected with the dragon dancing through the town part of it, or the parade. I connected with it because last night, a fire truck came through our neighborhood with Santa on it and did sort of a parade.
