  • All sectors of the economy are dependant and connected to each other. Primary sector usually includes production such as agriculture, fishing, mining, etc. For now lets take the example of wheat. It is cultivated in primary sector.
  • The secondary sector involves manufacturing of goods. It is also known as industrial sector. In this case, wheat is converted into wheat flour.
  • Increase in economy
  • The tertiary sector includes providing services to the primary and secondary sectors. It is also known as service sector. In this case, wheat flour is transported to shops.
  • The tertiary sector is very important as it helps in giving loans, advertising, etc.
  • Thus each sector is dependant on the other. The reduction in working of any one sector leads to reduction in working of all sectors.
  • For example, due to any storm or other reason, if the harvest is bad, then the wheat produced will be less. Subsequently amount of wheat flour produced will also be less, and lesser transportation will be used. Thus smooth functioning of all the sectors is required for a good economy.
