Gary tells his team that even though they aren’t implementing Salesforce.com within their business, they shouldn't collectively dismiss it and go back to their old ways. What happens if our competitors adopt it and we don't have a competitive solution in mind? He states that we need to develop an alternative course of action using the Growth Mindset, so as to brainstorm alternatives more effectively.

While at the innovation lab, the sales team runs into a variety of different people. Each one of them comes from a different background. Through these interactions, the sales team gets an influx of new ideas, so as to brainstorm more effectively .
You see, when Gary moved their office to the innovation lab, he not only gave them the opportunity to meet new clients through networking, but he got his sales team away from groupthink, by exposing them to people who have intriquing viewpoints.
