- The Monster Grendel
- Each night, a cursed monster named Grendel lurks into the night in the town of Herot to slaughter warriors. Gredel hates people but, never dares to touch Hrothgar. Although they try to move around, they can't get rid of him.
- The Coming of Beowulf
- Beowulf is a brave and that wants to save the villagers from Grendel. He sails with 14 men to Denmark. He boasts about his brave deeds. He also talk much about how he wants to finally slay the monster.
- Unferth's Challenge
- Unferth annoyed with Beowulf's arrival, starts to disrespect Beowulf. He shows how jealous he is of him once he starts to bring up Beowulf's past. Once Beowulf defends himself, everyone is shocked.
- The Battle with Gredel
- Grendel went out to again slaughter the villagers, not knowing what was in store for him. AS Grendel tries to get Beowulf, Beowulf had other plans. Beowulf goes at him and ends him. Grendel dies alone in his cave.
- The Battle with Grendel's Mother
- When word gets to Grendel's Mother, she is furious. She wants revenge. She finally catches Beowulf. She tries to kill Beowulf but he kills her first.
- Beowulfs Last Battle
- Beowulf killed the dragon but his comrade were unloyal. Beowulft was never afraid of dealth. Once his time came he accepted it.
