Qual 1 News Network
That's right Guy. This UA student was scared when she started this class. She has learned so much about Qualitative Research. Now she says she knows that this is the best research method for her.
What Pam learned about Qualitative Inquiry?1. It is like learning a new language.2. Qualitative Methods have to be practiced. New ideas and methods can only be learned through practicing techniques. 3. It takes TIME!4. Learning together with your class is what makes Qual 1 GREAT!
"Charlotte, Here are Pam's Perspectives and take-aways about Qual 1. ""Take a look at the dry erase board."
Pam says one moment of insight was sitting on the park bench on Paul Bear Bryant Drive observing people walking by that created the break through moment that resonates with her. That park bench represents the moment that she realized that Qualitative Research allows valuable information to be gained through personal experiences.
PAUL BEAR BRYANT DRIVE
Pam realizes she still has so much to learn, but shewants to let future Qual 1 students know that she loves the adaptability and flexibility of qualitative research.
"Qualitative Research allows you as the researcher to include the participants actively in the process. The participants become real and their experiences become the stories that provide opportunity for change."
What an amazing feel good story about Qualitative 1! I hope our viewers enjoyed it as much as I did!
