- People quarantined for up to 40 days to get rid of the plague. This was one of the more 'normal' cures, but they still wouldn't survive.
- The Bubonic Plague killed 25 million people in the end, which was almost a third of the continents population. The Black Death lingered on for centuries, particularly in cities. Outbreaks include the Great Plague of London (1665-66), in which 70,000residents died.
