Medea and Jason are happily married and have children. Medea thinks her life is perfect and nothing could go wrong. Little does he know, Jason desires more and has thoughts of marrying King Creon of Corinth’s daughter, Glauce in order to raise his status.
Eventually, Jason marries Glauce and Medea is heartbroken and curses her own existence. Jason fears she may take revenge so she is banished from the country by the king.
However, Medea hasn’t given up. She begs the king for one last day which he grants to her. Finally Medea can complete her quest for justice and plots to kill her kids, Jason and Glauce. Jason accuses Medea of overreacting and tells her he only remarried to the good of everyone but Medea will not listen as she has made up her mind to take revenge on those who have wronged her.
Once the King of Athens offers. Medea sanctuary in Athens in exchange for drugs to help him battle his sterility issues, Medea has cleared all her obstacles. She even wants to kill her kids as she thinks the pain of their deaths wont compare to the satisfaction of Jason’s death. So, Medea pretends to sympathises with Glauce and offers her a gift and begs her to ask Jason if she can stay. But the gift is poisonous and causes Glauce to die. The king is so heartbroken he decides to die next to her and absorb the poison.
After completing half of her killing spree, Medea moves on to her children. She kills them in cold blood and now she can be free to live her new life in Athens.
Medea flees Corinth in a chariot pulled by a dragon whilst Jason is left cursing.
