- Haha, SARS-CoV-2 is just the name of the virus that causes COVID-19 and that two week time period starts AFTERthe second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
- You might think it's that simple but it's not. Studies are showing that it typically takes up to two weeks after vaccination for our bodies to build protection against SARS-CoV-2.

- And that's where you're wrong again. Scientists are still learning how well the vaccines prevent us from spreading the virus, even if we show no symptoms.
- Seems like scientists should know if the vaccines are effective or not before giving them to people... just saying.
- Haha. Studies show that the COVID-19 vaccines are effective at keeping us from getting COVID-19 and if we do get it, we won't be seriously ill.
- It's not all in vain Jacob. It's just that the virus that causes COVID-19 is genetically unstable and because there are so many changes happening when it is infecting our cells, that makes it harder to develop effective vaccines against it.
