The Boston Tea Party, December 16, 1773 at the Boston Harbor angry colonists would dress as Native Americans. And they would board three ships and dump 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
Boston Massacre
The Lord North wanted to save the company though, so he created The Tea Act. The Tea Act allowed for the British East India company to sell tea without taxes. The colonists still had to pay taxes to sell tea though.
The Stamp Act
The sugar act lowered the tax on molasses that the colonists imported hoping to stop the colonies from smuggling.It also allowed soldiers to seize goods from accused smugglers without going to court. The colonists believed this law violated their rights.

The Boston Massacre is important because it was used as propaganda by the colonists to turn the colonists against Britain.

The stamp act taxed almost all printed materials such as newspaper wills and even playing cards.All of these and more needed a stamp to show that the tax had been paid. The colonists argued that only their own assemblies could tax them.
The Battle of Lexington and Concord is important because they learned from this battle that they could beat Britain in combat.
