Human Sacrifice
We Must Sacrifice!
After Topiltzin ended human sacrifice, he worshipped Quetzalcoatl. Quetzalcoatl can take form of a feathered serpent or a lightskin male with a beard. He was rumored to return.
Achievments
The Sun god was at the top, next was the ruler and priests, then the commoners and slaves were last.
Decline
Human Sacrifice played a big role in Aztec society. They believed that their most important god, the sun god, needed blood. They would daily sacrifice blood.
The Aztecs owned an urban center called Tenochtitlán. It had raised roads or bridges called causeways. The Aztecs also had one great Temple with two on top representing the sun god and rain god.
The Decline of The Aztecs could have been from drought, overpopulation or not enough resources to sustain the Empire.
We can't live with these dry conditions!
